On October 9th, 2006 Universal-Investment launched the Earth Exploration Fund UI in collaboration with the fund advisor, Earth Resource Investments AG. The fund focuses on undervalued small and mid-cap producers and exploration companies in the mining, oil and gas sectors with “unexplored” exploration upside. Focus is on investments which are primarily “off the beaten track” of the larger resource funds. Investments in more risky early stage explorers are the exception.
