Dr Pereshia Berlenbach

Pereshia, originally from South Africa, embarked on her academic journey in Germany before making a significant career shift to finance in 2011. She became the Chief Operating Officer and during her time as an executive board member, she contributed to the company’s successful navigation through the FINMA licensing process.

In 2018, Pereshia earned her Executive MBA from the University of Strathclyde Business School (Swiss Centre), graduating with distinction. Her thesis on sustainability in the mining industry was recognized with the Dean’s commendation, and she was honored as the best overall MBA student for the 2017/2018 academic year. This research laid the groundwork for the launch of her company’s third fund, focusing on sustainable investment strategies in mining—an area critical to the energy transition. As the initiator of this fund, she is dedicated to advancing the integrated sustainability strategies of mining companies and holds a certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge (CISL).

Outside of her professional life, Pereshia volunteers with an organization that aids in the education of teenage mothers in Tanzania and serves on the Business Advisory Board of swisspeace.
